Solar Shading

Shading systems will reduce solar heat gain, lower air conditioning running costs and lessen glare whilst maximising the use of natural daylight. By installing solar shading the remaining cooling needs can be strongly reduced and in some cases completely eliminated.

Louvered solar shading provides shade and functional ventilation. Our flexible approach means that we can offer solutions where;

• A variety of profiles, sizes and finishes are available to meet your functional and aesthetic requirements.
• All sun screens may be either hinged or permanently mounted.
• Overhangs in excess of 1000mm are supported with suspension brackets or outriggers.

Typically, the sunshade sections are mounted horizontally, cantilevering out from the building just above the window. In addition, Steadfast Solar Shading systems require virtually no maintenance.

Blade and Fascia Options

Sunshades are typically comprise four main components:

• Fascia
• Outriggers
• Mounting brackets

Louvers and Vents

Again Steadfast can offer a wide variety of louver models and finishes within each category, from our Storm Performance series to acoustic. Acoustic louvers are multi-purpose and can be used to permit the flow of air while providing excellent sound attenuation as well as protecting the environment from noise pollution. Sound ratings are available on request.

Decorative Grilles

Steadfast grilles offer architects a variety of concealment and screening options for sun control and vision barriers. Our most popular grilles can be fabricated in a variety of sizes, shapes and depths. Blades can be sloped to virtually any degree.

Bespoke Design

Custom designs can be created and fabricated to fit any architectural requirement.
